  JOSEPH J. GONDEK JR.
  
    Joseph J. Gondek Jr., 66, of Macdonaldton, died April 14, 1973 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born March 3, 1907, in Macdonaldton, he was
  the son of Joseph and Anna (Banas) Gondek.  He was preceded in death by his
  father in 1965.
    Survived are his widow, the former Helen Stapinski: two children, James,
  of Houston, Texas; and Miss Jo Anne, at home; his mother, Mrs. Anna Gondek
  of Macdonaldton; two grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Novak and
  Mrs. Mary Good, both of Macdonaldton.
    He was a member of St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church. St. John's Roman
  and Greek Catholic Society and UMWA.
    Funeral mass was held Tuesday morning in St. Gregory's Roman Catholic
  Church with the Rev. Father Z.H. Monet O'Carm officiating.  Interment, St.
  Gregory's Church cemetery, under the direction of Johnson and Son Funeral
  Home.
