    Joseph J. Gontis, 41, Boswell RD 2, died Feb. 2, 1985, at Memorial
  Hospital.  Born Jan. 23, 1944, in Acosta, son of Joseph E. and Ann V.
  (Stets) Gontis.  Preceded in death by infant brother.  Survived by parents,
  Boswell RD 2; widow, former Mary C. Dore; and two children: Joseph T. and
  Denise C., both at home.  Brother of: Maryann, wife of William Humphrey,
  Fairfax, VA.; Rosalie, wife of Robert Cramer, York; and Bonita, wife of
  Donald Wonders, Central City.  Member of St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta.
  Owner and operated Gontis Auto Repair, Boswell RD 2.  Friends received from
  7-9 p.m. Monday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home,
  Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
  Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at St. John's Church, the
  Rev. Benjamin Dykas.  Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Ralphton.
