Born May 22, 1914, in Cherryville, Kan. Son of the late Angel and Ramona Gonzales. Survived by his wife, the former Wanda Hannant, and three sons: Robert of Allen, Texas; Gary of Confluence, and Jan of Buckhannon, W.Va. Also four grandchildren and two brothers, Frank of Donora and Herman of Pittsburgh. Veteran of World War II. A member of the Donora Lodge 626, F & A.M.; Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Association, Three Rivers Rod, Gun and Bow Club. Owned and operated the Dodd's Hotel in Confluence until his retirement. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Rev. Richard McClintock officiating. Interment to follow in Baptist Cemetery. Masonic service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Daily American, May 28, 1993 [G0795]
