Virgil Good, 86, of Salisbury, died Nov. 25 at his home. Born Oct. 11, 1881, in Somerset Twp., a son of the late Josiah and Margaret (Stufft) Good. He was preceded in death by two wives, the former Ada Horner who died in 1943 and the former Vida S. Miller who died in 1966; a brother and a sister. He is survived by a niece, Miss Margaret Good of Little Falls, N.J. Mr. Good was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury. He was a retired plumber having served the Friedens and Salisbury area since 1923. He was a former member of the Salisbury Borough Council, Lions Club and Church Council. Service was held Tuesday morning at the Thomas Funeral Home with the Rev. David E. Fetter officiating. Interment followed in the Horner Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, November 30, 1967 [G0798]
