JOHN E. GOOD

  John E. Good, aged 69, for many years a well-known farmer living near 
Friedens, died recently at his home.  Last January he underwent a surgical 
operation.  He was a son of the late Abraham and Lavina Good and was a brother 
of Former Sheriff Isaiah Good, whose death occurred last year.
  Mr. Good and Miss Sydney Shaver were married 41 years ago.  Mrs. Good survives 
her husband.  He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Smith and Mrs. J. 
Wesley Ross, both of Friedens.
  Funeral services were conducted in the Lutheran church at Friedens by Rev. B. 
F. Rudisill, pastor.
