Goodrich, 68, a former Salisbury resident, who resided at 3401 Gandy Blvd., Pinelas Park, Fla., passed away Dec. 29, 1874, in Seminole Hospital at Lake Seminole, Fla. Her death followed a heart attack which occurred Dec. 16. Mrs. Goodrich was born in Salisbury and was the former Leona Corbett. She moved to Canton, Ohio, in 1937 and resided there until 1972, when she went to Lorain, Ohio, moving to Florida in October of last year. She was a former employee of Fisher Foods and Hercules Engines. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Lorain, a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Canton and taught in the Sunday School there for 27 years. She was a member of the Women's Society of Christian Service. While living in Salisbury, she was a member of the Methodist Church and had a perfect attendance record of 25 years in the Sunday School. Survivors include her husband, Merle Goodrich; a son, James A Goodrich of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Linda) Drews of Stevensville, Mich.; two granddaughters; and two brothers, Paul Corbett of Canton, Ohio, and Wayne D. Corbett of Seabrook, Texas. Funeral service was conducted Jan. 2 in the Reed Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Smith and Rev. Paul Reese officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
