    Ada Ruth (Dietle) Goodwin of Westminster, MD died September 19, 2008.
    She was born February 8, 1932 in Pocahontas, daughter of the late Simon and Ruth
  Dietle. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, John O. Goodwin, Sr; brothers:
  Sylvester Dietle and Bruce Dietle; sister, Catherine Deal.
    She is survived by these children: Joyce Hertsch and husband, Steve; David Goodwin
  Sr. and his wife, Jean; Jerry Goodwin and his wife, Ivy; Denise Barrett and her husband,
  Jim; and John O. Goodwin Jr. and his wife, Pam. 
    She is also survived by these grandchildren: Oliver Goodwin, David Goodwin, Nicole
  Barrett, Gary Hertsch, Michelle Barrett, Katie Hertsch, Jeremy Goodwin, Christopher
  Goodwin, Zachary Goodwin and Joshua Goodwin. 
    Ada lived most of her life in Baltimore, MD. She worked for Macmillan and Bloedel Box
  Factory for 28 years. After retiring, she moved to Westminster, MD, where she lived for
  the past 10 years.
    Services were held at the Ruck Towson Funeral Home on September 21, 2008. She was
  buried at Holy Hills Memorial Gardens on September 22, 2008.
