    George C. Gore, 69, Penn Avenue, Boswell RD 1, DOA Sept. 17, 1997, at
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born May 12, 1928, in Johnstown, son
  of George E. and Cecelia (Zeiler) Gore.  Preceded in death by parents,
  brother, Donald and infant sister, Charolotte.  Survived by wife, the
  former LuAnn Shank; daughter, Ronalyn, wife, of Michael Reed, Greensburg;
  son, George R., married to Denise Piccioni, Elizabethtown; five
  grandchildren: T.J., Cortlynn, Elizabeth, Joshua and Meghan; and sister,
  Mary Ann Davis, Bedford.  Member of St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran
  Church, Boswell, where he was a former council member and Sunday School
  teacher.  He also often attended Greater Johnstown Christian Fellowship. 
  Member of Boswell Athletic Sportsmen Assoc.  Observed 39th wedding
  anniversary, June 28, 1997.  He was an income maintenance caseworker for
  Somerset County Board of Assistance, with over 27 years of service.  Former
  sales manager for Pepsi and Seven-Up Bottling companies and a veteran of the
  U.S. Army.  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Main Street, Boswell.  Friends also received from 10 a.m. until time
  of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrew's Church, with the Rev. John
  K. Timm officiating.  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.  The B.A.S.A.
  will gather at the funeral home at 7 p.m. Friday.  Memorials to St.
  Andrew's Church, 500 Main St., Boswell, Pa. 15531 would be appreciated.
