Born March 4, 1895, in New Paris, daughter of the late William B. and Ellen (Blackburn) Mickle. Also preceded in death by husband, Philip S.; a son, Robert; and a daughter, Mary Katherine; and these brothers and sisters: Albert, Clay, Elizabeth Barefoot, Rose Suter, Russell, Homer, Howard, Lloyd and Alice Smith. Survived by daughters: Betty Louise, wife of Foster Hoffman, Monkton, Md.; Helen, wife, of Julius Gall, Windber; also survived by six grandchildren and three great-grandsons. A sister of Nellie Hinton, Johnstown. Was a member of the Somerset United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of the Windber Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at Meek Funeral Home, Inc., where service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Charles Olson officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
