  GORMAN
  
    Clarence William Gorman, Sr., 81, of East Sanner Street, Somerset, died
  April 1, 1983, at his residence.
    He was born March 1, 1902, in Rockwood, son of the late George Frederick
  and Mary (Burke) Gorman.  Also preceded in death by his wife, the former
  Hazel P. Platter, a sister and two brothers.
    He is survived by two sons, Clarence William Jr., of Punxsutawney; and
  George Frederick, of Somerset; five grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset
  Lodge No. 358, F&AM., Pittsburgh Consistory, Jaffa Shrine, FOE, and
  Brotherhood of Railroad Car Men of America.  He was a retired car inspector
  of B&O Railroad.
    Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where
  services were conducted with Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
