He was born March 1, 1902, in Rockwood, son of the late George Frederick and Mary (Burke) Gorman. Also preceded in death by his wife, the former Hazel P. Platter, a sister and two brothers. He is survived by two sons, Clarence William Jr., of Punxsutawney; and George Frederick, of Somerset; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset Lodge No. 358, F&AM., Pittsburgh Consistory, Jaffa Shrine, FOE, and Brotherhood of Railroad Car Men of America. He was a retired car inspector of B&O Railroad. Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services were conducted with Rev. H. James Meyers officiating.
