Born Oct. 4, 1930, in Somerset, son of the late Clarence William and Hazel Pearl (Platter) Gorman Sr. Survived by these children: Douglas F. Gorman, Somerset; Miss Susan E. Gorman, Somerset RD 8, and Miss Amy L. Gorman, Jackson Hole, Wyo. Brother of Clarence William Gorman, Jr., Somerset. A 1949 Graduate of Somerset High School. Member of the U.S. Naval Reserve prior to Korean War. Also member of Somerset VFW Post 554, Order of the Cootie, and Lodge 358, F.& A.M. U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Retired truck driver for the former Wilson Freight Lines. Friends were received in the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Dwight A.
