  Brewner B. Goss, 82, of Somerset RD 2 died Feb. 14, 1978 in the Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Nov. 3, 1896 in Bayard, W.Va., a son of David and
  Mary (Harvey) Goss.  Preceded in death by parents, one brother, two sisters,
  and one daughter, Helen Barclay.  Survived by his wife, Rose (Dick) Goss,
  one daughter, Evalyn, wife of Ernest B. Gelpi of Somerset RD 2; six
  grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; member of Christ Casebeer Lutheran
  Church, Men's Bible class, Cumberland Elks, Veteran of World War I,
  Somerset VFW Post 554, Somerset American Legion 181, retired Western
  Maryland Railroad General Agent in Gray, with 42 years of service.  Friends
  will be received after 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home where services will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.
  Robert R. Clark officiating.  Interment, Casebeer Church Cemetery.
