  James P. Gowarty, 66, Kingwood, W.Va., died Jan. 21, 2005, in Morgantown, W.Va.
  Born Oct. 16, 1938, in Jenners, a son of the late John and Helen (Vesek)
  Gowarty. Also preceded in death by two brothers and a nephew. He is survived by
  his wife of 43 years, Isabelle (Pat) Berkey Gowarty; son, James Gowarty and his
  wife, Lisa Price, Clarksburg, W.Va.; daughter, Angela Gowarty, Kingwood, W.Va.;
  a granddaughter, Hannah Gowarty, Clarksburg, W.Va.; two brothers, John Gowarty
  and his wife, Mary Lou, Columbia and Dennis Gowarty, Pittsburgh; three sisters,
  Diane Horak and her husband, Robert, Carnegie, Roseanne Covey and her husband,
  Dennis, Miami, Okla. and Barbara Thomas and her husband, Donald, Jenner
  Crossroads; three godchildren, Debbie Kuhn, New Freedom, Laura Reber, Killeen,
  Texas and Amber Braham, Tunnelton and several nieces and nephews. He was a
  member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Kingwood, W.Va. A driller for CTL
  Engineering in Morgantown and a U.S. Navy veteran. Friends were received Sunday
  at the Browning Funeral Home, Kingwood, W.Va. Mass of Christian burial will be
  celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, Kingwood, W.Va. The
  Rev. Father Mark Ward, CP, celebrant. Interment, Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of
  flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hannah Gowarty Educational
  Trust Fund in care of Wesbanco in Kingwood, W.Va.
