  GOWARTY
  
  Kenneth R. Gowarty Jr., 22, 25 Middle St., Jenners, died Feb. 25, 1983, at
  Oakland VA Medical Center, Pittsburgh.  Born May 4, 1960, in Somerset. A son
  of Kenneth R. and Nancy L. (Donio) Gowarty Sr.  Preceded in death by maternal
  grandfather, Joseph Donio, and paternal grandparents, Michael and Pearl
  Gowarty.  Survived by parents, Jenners, and brother, Chris, at home, and
  maternal grandmother, Mamie Donio, Kennett Square.  Member of St. Joseph's
  Catholic Church, Jenners, Jenner Community Sportsmen, and Jenner Rod and
  Gun Club.  Discharged from U.S. Navy Oct. 8, 1982 and a 1978 graduate of
  North Star High School.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Sunday and from 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where
  wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday.  Mass of Christian Burial at
  10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church.  The Rev. Alfred Evanoski OFM Conv.
  Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
