  GOWARTY
  
  Robert E. "Jeep" Gowarty, 67, 28 Middle St., Jenners, died the evening of
  April 17, 1989, at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born Sept. 1,
  1921, in Six Mile Run, son of Michael and Pearl (Fagird) Gowarty.  Preceded
  in death by parents and brother John.  Survived by wife, the former Helen
  Soha, and these daughters: Yvonne, wife of John Wolever, Juneau, Alaska;
  Helene Love, Keaau, Hawaii; Georgiann, wife of Ronald Fisher, Boswell RD 1;
  and grandchildren Robert and Creedance Love.  Brother of Blanche Dodson and
  Josephine Carpenter, both of Stoystown RD 1, and Arthur and Kenneth, both
  of Jenners.  Retired supervisor of PennDOT, Navy veteran of World War II.
  Friends were received Tuesday evening and will be received 2-4, 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where service is 2
  p.m. Thursday, Father Hilary Brzostowsky, O.F.M. Conv.  Interment, St.
  Stanislaus Cemetery.
