  Roberta (Begley) "Bucky" Gowarty, 61, Stonycreek Street, Boswell, died
  Nov. 3, 2004 at the Regional Hospice at Windber.  Born June 29, 1943, in
  Pilltown, Somerset County, daughter of Robert C. and Verda M. (Yoder)
  Begley.  Preceded in death by parents and sister Deborah Halgas.  Survived by
  husband, Bernard E.; sons, Mark, married to Tara Bosserman, Johnstown; and
  Matthew, married to Sherry Haag, Boyds, Md.; and loving grandchildren
  Kristen, Andrew and Alex. Sister of Wanda Sterner, Norwalk, Calif.; Gloria
  "Popeye" Winters, Pilltown; Doris "Dot," married to Kenneth Griffith,
  McMurray; Milly "Fritz," married Eugene Spiker, Mount Joy; Catherine "Kay,"
  married to Marlin Knisely, Pilltown; James, married to Chris Kallman,
  Clovis, Calif.; and David, married to Betty Brunelle, Jenner Township.  A
  1961 graduate of the former JBJ High School, Boswell.  Member of Hopewell
  United Methodist Church and Boswell Senior Citizens.  Observed 40th wedding
  anniversary Dec. 13, 2003.  Devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend,
  who will be missed by all who knew her.  Friends received 5 p.m. until time
  of memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street,
  Boswell.  Larry C. Hoover officiating.  Interment St. James Cemetery, Jenner
  Township, at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials
  may be given to the Regional Hospice at Windber, 600 Somerset Ave.,
  Windber, Pa. 15963.
