  CLYDE J. GOWER
  
    Clyde J. "Barney" Gower, 66, of Confluence RD 1, died Nov. 4, 1982, in
  the Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born Aug. 5, 1916, in Lower Turkeyfoot Township, the son of the
  late Jacob and Myrtle (Colflesh) Gower.  He was preceded in death by a
  sister, Elsie.
    He is survived by two brothers, Dale and Paul, both of Confluence.  He was
  a member of the Confluence Methodist Church, Turkeyfoot Fish and Game Assn.,
  and Confluence VFW Post 7250.
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where
  services were held with the Rev. Arthur Gotjen officiating.  Interment,
  Paddytown Cemetery.
