  GOWER
  
  Gerald E. Gower, 52, of Charleston Heights, S.C., died April 3, 1977.  He
  was born June 22, 1924, in Markleton a son of Edgar and Pauline (Peters)
  Gower.  He is survived by his brother, Douglas Wheaton of Markleton RD 1.  He
  was a retired Air Force veteran.  Friends will be received after 7 p.m.
  Tuesday (today) at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where funeral
  service will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Frost
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Zion Cemetery.
