Grabenstein, died last Friday evening at 8:15 o'clock at her home, 401 Columbia Street, Cumberland, after suffering a stroke, Thursday, at her home. She was a native of Meyersdale, a daughter of the late John and Mary Ann Breig Stacer. She had been a resident of Cumberland for fifty years. Her husband died nine years ago. Mrs. Grabenstein was a faithful member of SS. Peter and Paul Church of Cumberland, of the Arch Confraternity of Christian Mothers and of the Third Order of St. Francis. She is survived by two sons, Justus J. and Richard J. Grabenstein, both of Cumberland, two daughters, Sister Mary Justin of the Order of St. Francis, New Castle, Pa., and Mrs. Emma Soethe, Cumberland. Two brothers, George, Meyersdale, and Frank J. Stacer, Homestead, Pa., and four sisters, the Misses Anna, Esther, Clara and Lucy Stacer, all of Meyersdale, also survive. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Boniface Weckman, O.F.M. Cap., Charleston, W.Va., a former pastor, as celebrant. Rev. Henry F. Grabenstein, Baltimore, was deacon and Rev. Noel Trojan, O.F.M. Cap., assistant pastor, was sub-deacon. Interment was in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alphonosus, Raphael, Henry, Paul J., James E. and Edward Grabenstein.
