  GRACE
  
  Melvin James (Joe) Grace, 68, Broadway Street, Meyersdale, died June 4,
  1989, in Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Aug. 8, 1920, in Fayette
  County, son of the late John R. and Pearl (Shaffer) Grace.  Preceded in
  death by brothers, Emerson, Glenn and Merle, and sister, Helen Nicholson.
  Survived by three children: Shirley Whipkey, Carol Williamson and Jo Ann
  Hall, all of Wooster, Ohio, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
  Brother of Tilden, Greensburg; Denver, Ligonier; Goldie Beckner, Somerset;
  John, Irwin; Mabel Keefe, United; Myrtle Wadsworth, Greensburg; Ruby Fritz,
  Plum Borough; and Gilbert, Beaver Falls.  Carpenter by occupation.  Friends
  will be received from 2-9 p.m. Monday at Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home,
  where funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. Rev. Roger Forry
  officiating.  Interment, Mt. Olive Cemetery, Connellsville.
