Maritana Drive, St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., died Aug. 5, 1981. Retired educator, coach and administrator for many years in Pittsburgh. Executive director of Magnolia School in New Orleans. He received, on retirement, recognitions of merit for outstanding service to the City of New Orleans and to Jefferson Parish. Also superintendent at Somerset Point, N.J. and at the trianing school at Vineland, N.J., where he was an active member of the American Association for Mental Deficiencies. Survived by wife, Wilma; daughters, Audrey Litner, Haddonfield, N.J.; Marjorie Larson, Baton Rouge, La.; and Sally Heirsch, New Orleans; brother, William L., Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., in the Beach Memorial Chapel, St. Petersburg Beach. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Benevolent Fund for Skilton House, care of Covenant Presbyterian Church, King's Highway and Churchill Road, Cherry Hill, N.J. 08033.
