He was unmarried and for many years was a painter and decorator and resident of Meyersdale, a genial, kind and upright citizen. He was born in Garrett County, Maryland, May 28, 1890, a son of the late Mrs. Araminta Grahame, a member of a prominent pioneer family of Maryland. Surviving are five brothers, George, of Akron, O.; Charles and William, Detroit; Fred and Bradley, Meyersdale. Mr Grahame was a member of the Protestant Episcopal Church. Funeral services were conducted at the Grahame home at 2 p.m., Wednesday. Rev. Thomas R. Thomas of the Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was in the family plot in the Johnson Cemetery, four miles west of Frostburg, Md. R. Reich and Son had charge of the burial arrangements. Meyersdale Republican, July 20, 1944
