  Albert J. Grasser, 92, Manns Choice RD 1, died Aug. 23, 1987, in Donahoe
  Manor Nursing Home, Bedford.  Born Aug. 24, 1894, in Thomas Mills, son of
  the late John and Ellen (Beaner) Grasser.  Preceded in death by wife, the
  former Irene M. (Schaab), died June 1, 1970; son, Harold in 1968; four
  brothers and four sisters.  Survived by these children: Rita, wife of Merle
  Hinson of Clearville RD; Eileen, wife of Leo O'Brien, Everett RD 3; Gerald,
  Manns Choice RD; Miles, married to former Mary Lucas, Mechanicsburg;
  Donald, married to the former Shirley Scritchfield, Berlin RD 3; Donna,
  wife of Thomas Imgrund, Everett RD 1; 26 grandchildren; and 39
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of Edward of Ebensburg; Jacob of Lancaster;
  Joseph of Johnstown; Mrs. Margaret Thomas of Boswell; and Mrs. Elizabeth
  Hopps of Johnstown.  Retired farmer.  Member of Holy Name Society and St.
  John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore, where Mass of Christian
  Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Eugene Bettinger
  celebrant.  Interment, church cemetery.  Friends received Mickle-Geisel
  Funeral Home, Schellsburg, Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where wake service
  will be held at 8:30 p.m.
