All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ JENNIE GRASSER Mrs. Jennie Mae Bailey Grasser, daughter of Tobias Weimer and the late Mrs. Tobias Weimer, died at her home in Meyersdale, Wednesday, June 25th, at the age of 34 years, 5 months and 1 day, from angina pectoris, after an illness of seven months. She is survived by her father, Tobias Weimer, of Somerset, her husband, William A. Grasser, two sons, Clarence H. Bailey and William A. Grasser, Jr., three daughters, Betty Elaine Bailey, Louis Frances Grasser and Vera Jane Grasser, all of Meyersdale; three brothers, Charles E. Weimer, Allen Ross Weimer, and Russell Stewart Weimer, of Somerset; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth A. Blough and Mrs. J. Harold Swank, of Johnstown. Mrs. Grasser was born at Rockwood, January 26, 1896. She was a member of SS. Philip and James Catholic Church of Meyersdale and an active member of the Ladies' Aid Society of that church, as well as a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the American Legion. She was a loving and kind wife and mother and made many friends since living in Meyersdale, who regret her untimely demise. William Grasser, husband of the deceased, served his country gallantly during the World War as an airplane bomber, with a lieutenant's commission. He suffered many injuries and hardships during his service. Mrs. Grasser will be buried Saturday morning, at 10 a.m. in the SS. Philip and James Catholic Cemetery, the Very Rev. J. J.
