Grasser, 65, of 158 Juniata St., New Baltimore, died Feb. 2, 2000, at UPMC Bedford Memorial, Snake Spring Township. Born May 5, 1934 in Manns Choice, Bedford County. She was the daughter of the late Clarence Andrew and Margaret P. (Bagley) Scritchfield. Preceded in death by two brothers, Rickie and Joel Scritchfield. She was the wife of Donald A. Grasser, whom she married Aug. 6, 1955. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children: Melinda L., wife of Edward C. Will, New Baltimore; Robert K., husband of Christina L. Ross, Manns Choice; Barbara A., wife of Gordon Leppert, North Richland Hills, Texas, and Michael A., husband of Amy Kubas, Manns Choice. Sister of Charlotte Wertz, Bedford; Alonda Braman, Manns Choice; David Scritchfield, Manns Choice; Margaret Scritchfield, Breezewood, and sister-in-law Mary Scritchfield, Breezewood. Grandchildren, Jennifer, Jamie, Shane, Bryce and McKenna. She worked as a personal care giver. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Baltimore and vice president of New Baltimore Borough Council. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Mickle-Geisel Funeral Home, Schellsburg, where a vigil service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Funeral mass at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Rev. Norman Imgrund, celebrant, officiating. Committal service, St. John's Cemetery, New Baltimore.
