ALICE YORTY GRAVES

  Mrs. Alice Yorty Graves, 95, widow of the late John S. Graves, formerly of 
Meyersdale, died at her home in San Diego, Calif., November 9.  She was born in 
Meyersdale, May 20, 1853.  Mr. and Mrs. Graves and family moved from Meyersdale 
to San Diego about 35 years ago.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church 
of San Diego.
  She is survived by three daughters, Lou and Sarah Graves of San Diego, and 
Mrs. Robert Guy, Jr., of Ogden, Utah; eight grandchildren, eight great-
grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. William McAllister, Los Angeles, and Mrs. 
Edith MacLauren of Pawpaw, Mich.
  Services were held in her memory at Bradley Woolman's drawing room chapel at 
11 a.m., November 11, the Dr. Thomas Law Coyle officiating.  Private cremation 
followed.
