She was born June 11, 1910, in Summit Mills, the daughter of the late William Bruce and Eva Alice Hutzell Vought. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey T. Gray in 1959, an infant son, Paul Eugene, in 1930, and a grandson, in 1983. She was also preceded in death by five brothers; Merle, Walter, Robert, Lloyd and Richard Vought and three sisters: Martha Robley, Pearl Narvolite, and Vera Vought. She is survived by these children: Robert W. Gray, of Saltsburg; Bruce D. Gray, of Forbes Road; Earl R. Gray, of Azle, Texas; Vera Cassa, of Manor; Mrs. John (Carmelita) Jones, of Jeannette; Mrs. Ronald Janell Horning, of Berlin; 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Also a brother, Albert Vought, of Boswell; and two sisters, Mrs. Rudolph (Matilda) Schick, of Clearwater, Fla.; Mrs. Percy (Ruth) Thomas, of Harrisville. She was a member of the Church of the Open Door, Greensburg. Interment, Greensburg Union Cemetery. The Republic, January 23, 1986 [G0906]
