She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William P. Murray, and came to this country with her parents, when a little child, from Scotland, where she was born on August 12, 1874. Mrs. Gray was twice married, first to John Hotchkiss, deceased, and afterward to Thomas Gray, whose present whereabouts are unknown. Mrs. Gray is survived by her parents, who reside at Coal Run, and by two sons and two daughters, as follows: Robert Hotchkiss, of Coal Run; William Hotchkiss, of Jerome; Margaret, wife of Karl Swartzwelder, of Salisbury, and Catharine, wife of Walter Hersh, of Coal Run. Mrs. Gray had no children by her second husband. She is also survived by brothers and sisters as follows: Robert and Alexander Murray, of Akron, Ohio; James Murray, of Fairmont, W.Va.; Mrs. George Folk, Mrs. Janet Jenkins and Mrs. Ida Dancer, of Akron, Ohio. The funeral was held at the residence of Mrs. Gray's parents, with whom she had been living, and was conducted by Rev. B. A. Black, pastor of Amity Reformed Church, of Meyersdale, at 1:30 p.m., last Sunday. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery at Salisbury. Mrs. Gray was held in high esteem by her neighbors and friends. Meyersdale Republican, September 25, 1930
