Greathouse, 71, of Jefferson, Ohio, died July 10, 1999, in Painesville, Ohio. Born May 24, 1928, in Stoystown, daughter of William and Margaret (Kinzey) Umberger. Preceded in death by husband, John "Chic" Greathouse, parents and brother, Victor. Survived by sons, John and Dennis, both of Dallas, Texas, and Carlton of Kingsville, Ohio; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brother, Clair Umberger of Carlisle. A member of People's Church in Geneva, Ohio, and Bethel Bible Church in Jefferson, Ohio. A life member of Ex-POW's. She was a co-owner of Tiffany Square Restaurant in Ashtabula, Ohio, and a lover of people and animals. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday at the Donald E. Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, Ohio. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Donald E. Walker officiating.
