All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ FRANK GRECO Listie Man Electrocuted in Coal Mine at Friedens Frank Greco, aged 25, of Listie, was electrocuted early Sunday morning when he came in contact with a trolley wire while repairing a mine motor in the Vulcan Smithing Coal Company mine at Friedens. His dead body was found some time after the accident by other workmen in the mine. Greco is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Greco, of Listie, and the following brothers and sisters: Albert and Carmela, at home; Susan and Mrs. Charles Domenick, both of Minerva, O., and Mrs. Louis Gusbar, of Listie. The body was prepared for burial by Undertaker Charles R. Hauger, of Somerset. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Somerset, followed by interment in the Listie Cemetery. Coroner H. S. Kimmel conducted an inquest, a jury returning a verdict of accidental death, due to electrocution. Meyersdale Republican, November 13, 1930
