  Herbert C. Green, 78, died June 17, 1989, in Oxnard, Calif.  Formerly of
  Confluence.  Born April 6, 1911, in St. Mary's, Pa.  Preceded in death by his
  wife, Dorothy (Lytle) Green.  Survived by his daughter, Sandra Satterfield,
  Glendale, Ariz.; step-daughters: Pauline Franklin, Oxenhill, Md.; Nancy
  Bailey, Overland Park, Kansas; and stepson, Darrell Lingenfield,
  Chambersburg; 2 grandchildren; and 4 stepgrandchildren.  Retired military
  officer.  Graveside services will be held at the Ursina Cemetery June 30 at
  2 p.m.
