(King) Green, 96, of Tarentum, Pa., formerly of Natrona Heights, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 1994, at Allegheny Valley Residence. Born Dec. 27, 1897, in Scullton, Somerset County. Daughter of the late Scott and Evaline (Whipkey) King. Also preceded in death by husband James Green in 1954; one brother Orlen King; two sisters, Cappicola Ansell and Iva Zine Platter; three half-brothers, Ross, Cleveland and John King; one half-sister Delilah Gearhart. Survived by daughter Mrs. Audrey Fisch, Salunga, Pa.; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. Clerk in accounting with PPG Industries, Creighton, for over 25 years. Member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, Brackenridge, Pa. Formerly enjoyed bowling, gardening. Visitation was held at the Albert H. Duster and Sons Funeral Home in Tarentum. Burial office and commendation conducted Jan. 31 at the funeral home with the Rev. W. Nicholas Knisley, rector of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church. Burial was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Rockwood. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday (today) at 1 p.m. in Wesley Chapel, Scullton. Somerset Daily American, February 5, 1994. [G0953]
