  GREEENE, Richard Douglas, Jr. 09/11/06   Daily American
  
     Richard Douglas Greene Jr., 42, Shanksville, died Sept. 8, 2006, at West Penn
  Hospital. Born Oct. 28, 1964, in Somerset, son of Richard Sr. and Joyce R. (Boyer)
  Greene. Preceded in death by maternal grandparents, William C. and Dora Boyer and
  paternal grandparents, Ralph and Ruby Greene. Survived by parents; his wife of 16 years,
  the former Cheri Criswell and these children, Amanda Marie Bly, Rebecca Dawn Criswell,
  James David Criswell, and Richard Douglas Kohan; grandchildren, Anthony Douglas Bly and
  Shane Douglas Foust; a sister, Renea Hardin; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and
  nephews. A 1982 graduate of North Star High School and a U.S. Navy veteran. Member of the
  Shekinah Fellowship and the Freedom Fighters Band. He was an avid Christian singer and
  songwriter. He loved to play guitar and enjoyed laughter and jokes. He also enjoyed
  hunting and fishing. He and Cheri were the loves of each others lives. He was a brave man
  who fought a long courageous battle and ÒHEÓ won. He will be sadly missed by his family
  and friends. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the
  Shekinah Fellowship, where additional viewing will be from 10 a.m. until the time of
  service at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Samuel Childers officiating. Interment, Odd
  Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. Military honors by the Somerset County Honor Guard. Memorial
  contributions may be made to the Shekinah Fellowship, 165 Boyer's Pond Road, Central City,
