Harry Lawrence "Bud" Greer Jr., 74, of 9244 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, died April 24, 1999, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born Feb. 28, 1925, in Pittsburgh, son of the late Harry L. Greer Sr., and Myrtle L. (Moore) Greer. Survivors include his wife, Nedra NaDeen (Schaat) Greer; a son, Harry L. "JR" Greer, III, Orlando, Fla.; daughters, Debra Lee Durben, Oakland, Md., and Cheryl Lynn Shughart, Shippensburg; a sister, Lois Latshaw, Deltona, Fla.; and 6 grandchildren. Mr. Greer was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury. He was retired from the accounting department of Kelly Springfield Tire Co., Cumberland, Md. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Meyersdale Lodge 554, Free and Accepted Masons. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m., Monday at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., Grantsville, Md. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday at St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Raymond Brown officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Allegheny County Memorial Park, Pittsburgh. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to St. John's United Church of Christ, P.O. Box 33, Salisbury, Pa. 15558.
