Greninger, 94, died Jan. 17, 2005. Born Feb. 1, 1910, in Rebersburg, Centre County, a son of the late Edwin K., who passed away in 1960 and Ada (Gephart) Greninger, who passed away in 1918. Also preceded in death by wife of 44 1/2 years, Margaret (Miller) Greninger, Feb. 5, 1981; and brother, Myles S. Greninger. Survived by daughter, Nancy (Greninger) Richardson and son-in-law, Charles O. Richardson; granddaughter, Polly Richardson and grandson, Geoffrey Richardson, all of Lawrenceville, N.J. Also survived by nephew, Donald Greninger. Member of St. David's Evangelical Lutheran Church, life member of NEA, PSEA, Pa. Association of School Retirees, and Penn State Alumni Association. A Pennsylvania State University graduate, he did graduate work at Lehigh University, Franklin and Marshall College and Oberlin College. Taught school for seven years at Miles Township High School, Rebersburg. Completed his teaching at Conemaugh Township Area Schools after 31 years of being chairman of senior high mathematics department. He was a finalist for 1970 Teacher of the Year Award of Pennsylvania. Honored as one of seven finalists by then Gov. Shaffer and David H. Kurtzman, Secretary of Education. Service will be held at St. David's. Interment, Kaufman Cemetery.
