Main Street, Berlin, died March 18, 1975 in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born in Germany, Aug. 7, 1899, he was the son of the late August and Gustine (Miller) Grenke. He was preceded in death by a son, Frederick, killed in World War II, three brothers and a sister. Surviving are his wife, the former Pearl M. Egolf, and these children: Mrs. James (Virginia) Hartman of Somerset; John W. of Winchester, Va.; Telford C. of New Florence; and eight grandchildren. He was a brother of Emil Grenke, Akron, Ohio; William of Hyndman; Samuel of Pocomoke City, Md.; Olga Gerhart of Akron, Ohio; and had two half-brothers, Albert and Daniel of Cumberland, Md. He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. Friends are being received in Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin, where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, with the Rev.
