  HELEN R. GRESS
  
    Mrs. Helen R. Gress, 80, of Meyersdale, died March 26, 1978, in the
  Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. She was born October 27, 1897, in Meyersdale,
  a daughter of the late Charles and Ann (Hart) Bolden.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; and a daughter, Alice
  Ann.
    She is survived by these children: Dr. William W. Gress, Hollsopple RD 2,
  who maintains a medical practice in Davidsville; Dr. Gordon A. Gress,
  Johnstown RD 5, a surgeon at Memorial Hospital; Dr. George H. Gress,
  Johnstown RD 5, a Johnstown dentist; Mrs. Rosita Michalek, Butler; also 18
  grandchildren. Also surviving are a brother, Fred Bolden, Meyersdale; and
  three sisters, Mrs. Rita Miller and Mrs. Marcella Stotler, both of
  Meyersdale; and Mrs. Irene Thomas, Meyersdale RD 3.
    Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at the Ss. Philip and James
  Catholic Church with the Rev. J. Clark George officiating.  Interment,
  church cemetery. Rosary was recited Monday at the Price Funeral Home.
