NELLIE V. HIBNER GRESS

  Mrs. Nellie V. Hibner Gress, 63, died Sunday morning at her home in 
Meyersdale.  She was born February 27, 1885, in Somerset County, a daughter of 
George and Emma Altmiller Hibner.
  Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Charles E. 
Swindell, Salisbury R.D. 1, and Mrs. Randall Shearer, Connellsville; also two 
brothers - George Hibner of Isabel; Herbert Hibner of Chicago, Ill.; a half-
brother, William Altmiller of Pitcairn; a half-sister, Mrs. Milton Lee of 
Meyersdale R.D. 3, and six grandchildren.
  Friends were received at the Price Funeral Chapel in Meyersdale where funeral 
services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Howard K. Hilner, pastor 
of Zion Lutheran Church.  Burial was made in Union Cemetery.
