  MRS. FLORENCE GRIFFIN
  
    Mrs. Florence (Bowmaster) Griffin, 58, Detroit, wife of C. Howard
  Griffin, died Oct. 14, in Mt. Carmel Hospital, Detroit, after about five
  weeks as a patient there.
    Born in Meyersdale March 24, 1906, she was a daughter of the late
  Cornelius and Minnie (Siehl) Bowmaster.
    She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Sally, student at the
  University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; and four sisters: Mrs. Ruth Spence,
  Detroit; Miss Mabel, Uniontown; Mrs. Naomi Robinson, Newell, W. Va.; and
  Miss Margaret, Meyersdale.
    Service was Oct. 17 at Neely Funeral Home, Detroit, with William R.
  Schroeder officiating.  Interment was made in Grand Lawn Cemetery, Detroit.
