Griffith, 81, Somerset Towers, died Nov. 23, 1985, at her residence. Born Feb. 15, 1904, in Davidsville, daughter of the late David W. and Martha Jane (Dietz) Weaver. Preceded in death by her husband, Curtis, in 1969; four brothers and three sisters. Survived by these children: Herald E. Griffith, Odesto, Calif.; Robert E. Griffith, Eugene, Ore.; and Shirley Schrock, Johnstown; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Four sisters; Mrs. Lela Schneider and Mrs. Edith Berkey, both of Johnstown; Mrs. Vera Hoffman, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Tracey Myers, Cleveland, Ohio; two brothers: Ray Weaver, Library, Pa.; and Freeman Weaver, Hollsopple, Mrs. Griffith and her late husband owned and operated Griffith Clover Farm Store, 544 East Main St., Somerset. Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren, where she served as a deaconness, member of Women's Aglow, Somerset Chapter. Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Somerset Church of the Brethren, with the Rev. Roger Forry officiating. Interment, Maple Springs Church Cemetery.
