  David W. "Buck" Griffith, 69, of Boswell, died Nov. 30, 1977 at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 31, 1907 in Jenner Township, Somerset
  County, son of Robert C. and Bertha (Fleischaurer) Griffith.  Preceded in
  death by parents, wife, the former Rosald [sic] Driggs, who died Nov. 25, 
  1966 and Brother Howard.  Survived by a son, David W., Jr, married to the 
  former Marjory Bowers, Somerset; and daughter Daryle, wife of Fred Sheftic, 
  Boswell, also seven grandchildren.  Brother of Robert L., Berlin; and Donald 
  E., Orlando, Fla.  Member of and former employee of Jenner Rod and Gun Club.
  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
  Friday at the Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where 
  services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. David Davis officiating.
  Interment, Hopewell Methodist Cemetery.
