Born Feb. 13, 1918, in Ferrelton, Somerset County, son of Marshall and Edith (King) Griffith. Preceded in death by parents, step-mother, Helen B. Griffith. Survived by sisters, Mary E., Stoystown RD 1; Mrs. Thelma Orr, Houston, Texas; nephew, Dr. Michael Orr, Winston Salem, N.C.; and niece, Mrs. Susan Waddell, Cleveland, Ohio. Member of First Presbyterian Church, Johnstown. Retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Co., Johnstown plant. Veteran of World War II. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. Saturday until time of service at 2 p.m. at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, the Rev. William H. Snyder.
