  GRIFFITH
  
    Lizzie Mae Griffith, 95, of Listie, died May 27, 1996, at Somerset
  Patriot Manor.  Born Feb. 6, 1901, in Lincoln Township, daughter of Charles
  Alvin and Susan Cora (Bittner) Lape.  Preceded in death by parents; husband,
  Paul Standford Griffith, who died May 29, 1983; two sons: Roy and William
  Griffith; two daughters-in-law:; Wilma (Bittner) Griffith and Mary
  (Guillen) Griffith; two grandsons: William Griffith Jr. and Lawrence
  Griffith; four sisters:  Viola Lape, Pauline Awtey, Pearl Griffith, and
  Maggie Shaulis; one brother, Harvey Lape.  Survived by son: Charles T. and
  wife Gladys (McLucas) Griffith, Greencastle.  Sister of Mrs. Mabel
  Zambanini, Derby, N.Y.; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, two
  great-great grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and four
  step-great-grandchildren.  Member of Faith Lutheran Church.  Friends will
  be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (today) Tuesday at Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday with
  Rev. Lynn M. Sanner officiating.  Interment, Casebeer Cemetery.
