LYDIA LOUISE BOWMAN GRIFFITH

  Mrs. Lydia Louise Bowman Griffith, 40, died at 6 a.m. Sunday at her home in 
Rockwood, after an illness of five years, from complications.  She is survived 
by her husband, William H. Griffith, and three children, Oleta, Kathleen and 
William, at home; also by the following sisters and brothers:  Mrs. Victor 
Schramm, Salisbury; Mrs. Wesley Hosselroth, Ellerslie, Md.; Millard Bowman, 
Boynton; Milton Bowman, West Salisbury.
  Funeral services were conducted at the home, Tuesday at 2 p.m., in charge of 
the Rev. W. F. Berkebile of the Rockwood Church of the Brethren.  Interment in 
Union Cemetery, Meyersdale, under direction of Mills and Mickey.
