  Marah Edythe Griffith, 16, Somerset Pike, Johnstown died Dec. 25, 2001, at
  Vail Valley Medical Center, Vail, Colo.  Born March 28, 1985, in Vail,
  daughter of J. Donald Jr. and Brenda (Hutchinson) Griffith.  Survived by
  paternal grandfather, J. Donald Griffith and his wife, Caroline, Johnstown;
  parents, Johnstown; sister Nina at home; aunt, Debra Hutchinson married to
  Alan Echtler, and cousin, Jesse Eagle, Colo,; uncle, Joseph Hutchinson,
  married to former Jean Atherton, Apalachicola, Fla.; aunt, Collen Reffner
  and aunt Veil Griffith, both of Johnstown.  Member of Our Mother of Sorrows
  Catholic Church.  Was a grade 11 student at Conemaugh Township High School,
  where she was a former cheerleader.  Marah loved to write and was a poet. 
  She enjoyed skiing and horseback riding.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.,
  Johnstown, where vigil service will be held Sunday.  Funeral Mass will be
  held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church. 
  Committal Grandview Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to
  Charcot-Marie Tooth Association, 2700 Chestnut Parkway, Chester, Pa. 19013.
