  Mrs. Margaret M. Griffith, 78, of East Race Street, Somerset, died May 2,
  1984, at Siemon Lakeview Manor.  Born Sept. 29, 1905, in Kantner, a
  daughter of the late Ross M. and Myrtle (Specht) Rininger.  Survived by her
  husband, William J.; and these children: Mrs. Fred (Sara) Saylor and Mrs.
  William (Dorothy) Barnhart, both of Somerset; Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Morin
  of Matthews, N.C.; William L., Atlanta, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and nine
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Carl of Johnstown; Kenneth of Kantner;
  Daniel of Stoystown; Mrs. Mary Koontz of Windber; and Mrs. James
  (Catherine) Powell, Stoystown RD 3.  Member of First United Methodist
  Church, Somerset.  Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services
  will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Percy Ellenberger
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
