  MARY GRIFFITH
  
    Mary Ida Maust Faidley Griffith, 82, of Friedens, died April 16, 1998, at
  Somerset Hospital.
    Born Nov. 17, 1915, in Summit Mills, she was a daughter of the late
  Clarence and Olive (Witt) Maust.  She was also preceded in death by these
  brothers and sisters, Quinton, Claden "Cockey", Ralph, Eldon, Bernice
  "Bets" Shultz, and Ruth Custer.  She was also preceded in death by her
  first husband, Albert Faidley.
    Mrs. Griffith is survived by her husband, George Griffith; a brother,
  Clarence Woodrow Maust of Oak Hill, Fla.; a sister, Helen Courtney of
  Meyersdale; and a niece, Joan Phillippi of Rockwood.  She is also survived
  by a number of nieces and nephews.  She was a member of the Somerset
  Christian Fellowship Church.
    Friends were received April 18 at Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  where services were held April 19, with the Rev. William Dodson
  officiating.  Interment, Lichty Cemetery.
