  Michael H. Griffith, 75, White Star Village, Jennerstown, died Nov 7, 1988,
  at home.  Born Nov 4, 1913, in Jenner Township, son of John L. and Mary M.
  (Philson) Griffith.  Preceded in death by parents and son, Jerry.  Survived
  by wife, the former Elizabeth Holsopple; son, Ronald Michael, married to the
  former Carol Deal, Somerset; and grandson, Michael.  Member of Mt. Laurel
  United Church of Christ, Somerset Lodge 358 F&AM, Jaffa Temple and Ancient
  Accepted Scottish Rite, both of Altoona; and Somerset County Shrine Club. 
  Retired electrical engineer with 33 years of service, Johnstown Works
  Bethlehem Steel.  Observed 50th wedding anniversary March 18, 1988. 
  Friends received 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street,
  Boswell, where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with the Rev.
  Joseph M. Beer officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
