  GRIFFITH
  
    Odell R. Griffith, 71, of Somerset, died Jan 14, 1993, at his
  residence.  Born Jan. 21, 1921, in Somerset, son of the late William and
  Pearl Grace (Lape) Griffith.  Also preceded by a daughter, Ruth Ilene
  Griffith, and a brother, Harvey Griffith.  Survived by his wife, the former
  Ada Eileen Hemminger, and these children: Mrs. John (Donna) Sager of
  Manhattan, New York City, N.Y.; Mrs. William A. (Linda) Peck of Friedens RD
  2, and Richard O. Griffith of Somerset; also three grandchildren:  Stephen
  and Lisa Peck and Stacey Griffith.  Brother of Mrs. John (Romaine) Pyle of
  Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Harold (Evelyn) Howarth of Baltimore, Md.; Charles E.
  Griffith of Stow, Ohio; Mrs. Mahala Miller of Somerset, J. Elwood Griffith
  of Ellwood City, Mrs. Dorothy Manuska of Somerset RD 7, and L. William
  Griffith of Baltimore, Md.  Veteran U.S. Army, W.W. II, European Theater. 
  Retired serviceman and repairman for the Somerset store of Penn Furniture
  Company for 40 years, retiring in 1986.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church,
  Eagles Aerie 1801, and VFW Post 554.  Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral
  Home, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Rev. Robert L. Hoover
  Jr. and Rev. Charles F. Olson officiating.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.  Family suggests contributions to W. Pa. Chapter of the
  American Heart Association, 318 Broad St., Johnstown, Pa. 15906.
