  Pearl G. Griffith, 93, of Somerset, died April 14, 1988, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan 20, 1895, in Lincoln Township, daughter of
  the late Charles A. and Susan C. (Bittner) Lape.  Preceded in death by
  husband, William; son, Harvey; and grandson, Larry Griffith; one sister,
  Pauline; and a brother, Harvey.  Survived by these children: Mrs. John
  (Romaine) Pyle, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Harold (Evelyn) Howarth and L.
  William, both of Baltimore, Md.; Charles E., Stow, Ohio; Odell R. and Mrs.
  Mahala Miller, both of Somerset; J. Elwood, Ellwood City, Pa.; Mrs. Joseph
  (Dorothy) Manuska, Somerset RD 7; and 22 grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs.
  Lizzie Grifith (sic), Listie; and Mrs. Wilbur (Mabel) Zambini, Buffalo,
  N.Y.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Friday (today) at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be
  held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Roy A. Worsham officiating. Interment,
  Casebeer Cemetery.
